|Welcome to my page! I'm Julie and I'll be your hostess. What do I mean by "loose socks edition?" Well, my best friend recently went to Japan, and she brought me back a pair of ruusu sakusu or "loose socks" just like Kagome wears!! They are sooooo comfortable, and she says nearly every schoolgirl in Japan is wearing them. ^^ Anyway, I was getting ready for a logo change so I decided to make this the "loose socks edition" in honor of my very own pair of loose socks. As always, the menu on the left will take you where you want to go. So let's get started!
New Stuff: 7/30/00 The Inuyasha Fan Club and Inuyasha Webring are up and running! You may notice that they look completely different than this site... that should give you some idea what this site will look like when I have more time to work on it.
For the uninformed, Inu-Yasha is a manga (Japanese comic) drawn and written by the fabulous Takahashi Rumiko*, who also has given us several great series such as Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, Lum * Urusei Yatsura, and more. The series' full title in Japanese is Inu-Yasha: Sengoku o-Togi Zoushi, which Viz has chosen to translate as "Inu-Yasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale." [* It should be noted that all the names on this page appear with the family name first, which is the way they would appear in the Japanese version.]
Are you new to the series? Need some help getting the story straight? You can find the basic premise here. You can also get to it by clicking on the "Story" link on the menu (durrr). Character information is here, and if you are in love with the artwork like I am (or you've got a crush on one or several of the characters--I won't tell! ^^) check out the image gallery to satisfy your artistic appetite (or get your latest fix ^^). Finally, there's a links page to help you find other great Inu-yasha resources on the web. I've also included lots of links I just happen to like, and links to places from which I've gotten stuff for this page (backgrounds, icons, etc.). Enjoy! ^^
